My little Praise Dancers!!

So apparently I haven't written anything lately as I have been informed....The Malone clan has been quite busy!! Elly and Emmy both have started school. Emmy is in half day kindergarten, and loving it. Elly is in 1st grade, and loving it! I couldn't ask for any better teachers for them either. We are quite blessed! The girls are also "full steam ahead" into dance....as usual! Elly is on the Performing Team, and both girls are on the new Praise Team. They both LOVE it, but, are realizing that being involved in something, can sure take up alot of time! These pictures are from a dance that they did for a Christmas "Ladies Night." They had a ball! They all 4 got to stay up past their bed times, and dance to "Happy Birthday Jesus" (Brooklyn Tab. Choir). They were, of course, fabulous!! That sums it up for now. Josh has turned 34, I have turned 31, Elly 7, and Emmy 51/2. Life just keeps getting better!!!!!!

Dancing at the Fair......

This year was Elly's 2nd time to dance at the Porter County Fair with her performing team from dance. She did a wonderful job with her team, and she got to do her trio (We're in the Money) from competition. As you can see from the pictures....she LOVES it! Emmy had a great time too. She got to use my camera while we were waiting for the show...she is very good at taking pictures, and she mastered taking pictures of herself!!!! All in all, it was a fabulous time!

American Girl Store!!!!

Well, it finally happened......the Malone girls have been introduced to the American Girl Store in Chicago! Needless to say, they loved it, as did grandma and myself! We had a ball! The day began with a train ride into the city.....loved it. Then a walk to the store....liked it. Then......walking into the store, you would have thought that they were at the gates of Heaven! Eyes as big as watermelons! Who could blame them, American Girls as far as the eye could see....and then more upstairs!!! Clothes, movies, books, dolls, more dolls, tiny dolls, kid clothes, baby clothes, it was a dream come true! Then......Emmy, in all of her indecisiveness says...."I have come here for Kit, I'm going to go and get Kit now." And off she went, no ifs ands or buts!! (And oddly enough, no changing her mind!!) Elly, however, walked around, and around, and around trying to figure out the best fit for her. The answer.....Rebecca. Both of the girls picked a doll that looked like their own sister! Ahhhh the love! So, we went, we saw, and we conquered! It was a lovely day for all!

Well, here I go........

So, I have been enjoying the photos of my nephew and niece for quite awhile, and I thought what better way to send photos to them too, than to have my own blog.....so, here it goes!!! I hope that I can get this to work!! Fantastic! It works....now I have to get it to work a bit faster. Anyways, this was taken the last day of our "camping" trip. I use the word "camping" very loosely....it was a luxury resort cabin!! I'm not shy about, I'm not ashamed of it, in fact, I'm never going back to the tent again!!!! I LOVED IT!!! We had a ball! I'll try again a bit later.
